Connection of a 380 kV line to the new Spannberg substation
Design of new high-voltage towers for a future-proof Austria
A new substation is to be built in Spannberg. For this purpose, the existing 380 kV line will be split at the substation and connected to it by means of several new steel towers.
The connection is made via four new 380 kV towers. Due to project-specific requirements, complex towers with cross-shaped crossarms and 45° crossarms are needed.
Steel design for high-voltage towers
Using state-of-the-art design software and 3D modelling of the structures, we carry out the complete steel design.
