BRÜNDL SPORTS GLASS WALKWAY – ARCHITECTURE PERFECTED
In the field of structural glass, BCI regularly delivers technically demanding projects that place the highest demands on structural engineering and design. A particular highlight is the glass walkway with a 10-metre free cantilever for the Bründl Sports flagship store in Kaprun.
TECHNICAL EXCELLENCE FROM A SINGLE SOURCE
The owner, Christoph Bründl, commissioned BCI to undertake the entire design process – from the first concept phase through the complex structural analysis to the final detailed design. The load-bearing structure is made of bonded laminated safety glass (LSG) made from heat-strengthened glass (HSG), combining maximum transparency with maximum stability. Fabrication and installation were carried out by our long-standing partner seele.
